New V 6.0
The TufFlight Predator design was inspired by the great flying wings flown in
open R/C combat over the past decade. With minimal parts count and many
pre-shaped mating surfaces, this kit is ready for covering after one evening.
Very lightly loaded, the Predator will turn or loop in less than 30 feet at
full throttle. Low drag design allows fast speeds, and good glide for landing with power
off. Compact size and no field assembly means you'll go
from the car to the air in minutes. In the winter, it's lots of fun flying over snow and quick
to clean when it's time to quit and warm up.
New Version 6.0 features improved assembly and wing upgrades similar to our popular Panther design. Removable fin allows easy transport and storage. Integral tank handle and optional “Icarex” covering method illustrated in all new detailed instruction manual.
Anyone for combat? The Predator is fast, furious, and TOUGH! Mid-air collisions no
longer end a day's flying. Tie a streamer to the tail fin, and go chase a
friend who's crowding your airspace.
Use your transmitter's mixer for elevons, or use elevator/ailerons with 2 aileron servos and a "Y" harness.
The TufFlight Predator lets you survive and conquer the competition -- be they plane, tree, or earth.

Actual Build Time : 3 Days
- read instructions on lunch break
- 3 hours to assemble and glue main airframe (follow with overnight cure)
- 2 hours to install radio
- 2 hours to cover
- 1 hour to balance and install engine
if you're really motivated, combine last 3 steps into a single night, and you'll be airborne in 2 days!
If you're a super slow builder (like me), you'll still have difficulty taking any longer than a week to complete this plane. Any way you look at it, that's not a big investment for a plane you'll love to fly (without fear of crashing) for quite a long time to come.
